A world-leading high-tech rope maker
HAMPIDJAN is one of the world's leading makers of fishing gear and high-tech ropes, headquartered in Iceland with 14 locations across 4 countries and over 900 employees. Their proprietary ultra-high-performance fiber rope, the DynIce series, is used worldwide — from commercial fishing and offshore development to the America's Cup.
As HAMPIDJAN's sole agent in Japan, COAST handles the full product lineup — from selection and quotation through domestic delivery and technical support, all in Japanese, end to end.
Fishing Ropes & Gear
Compatible with trawl, purse seine, bottom-trawl, and other fishing methods. Proprietary materials combine light weight with high strength.
Aquaculture Materials
Mooring lines, anchor lines, and net ropes for aquaculture pens. Each spec can be tuned to the marine environment.
Mooring & Offshore
High-performance mooring ropes, non-conductive ropes for LNG operations, and DynIce for towing and lifting applications.
Norwegian aquaculture technology
ELDI is the aquaculture brand of the Hampidjan Group, launched in 2025. Built on Norwegian aquaculture technology, it offers a comprehensive portfolio — pens, nets, mooring systems, aquaculture barges, automatic feeding systems, and the AquaCom digital management tool. The 500 Series pens are in operation worldwide, including in Japan.
As ELDI's sole agent in Japan, COAST handles sales and technical support for aquaculture equipment.
Aquaculture Pens
Circular and square models in a range of sizes. Industry-leading walkway widths ensure safer working conditions.
Barges & Auto-Feeding
A complete offering covering aquaculture barges, automatic feeding systems, and net & protection solutions.
AquaCom Digital Operations
A digital operations tool that unifies equipment maintenance, certification, and resource planning.
A Norwegian maker built on service
Fluctus AS is a specialist maker of aquaculture feeding equipment based in Kolbeinsvik, Norway. The product line covers the full feeding workflow — feed barges, land- and sea-based feeding systems, spreaders, silos, silo hatches, and software.
The hallmark is after-sales support so thorough it has been called "service as religion." A free service hotline, transparency from an employee-owned business, and a network of Norwegian subcontractors ensure fast parts supply and on-site response. Engineers average 15 years of tenure — a veteran team that anchors the reliability.
Feed Barges
The F5017 series and other feed barges form the operational core of aquaculture farms. Robust engineering built to last in long-term operations.
Feeding Systems & Spreaders
Sea- and land-based feeding systems plus pellet spreaders. Designed for feeding efficiency and uniform distribution.
Silos & Software
Feed silos, silo hatches, ensilage equipment, and operations software — complete coverage of the feeding process.
Among the world's largest lift solutions
Italy's CIMOLAI Technology is a leader in lifting solutions for shipyards, marinas, and ports. Their lineup spans some of the world's largest lift equipment — mobile boat hoists from 30 to 2,000+ tons, gantry cranes, and self-propelled transporters. Fully electric and space-saving variants combine sustainability with on-site optimization.
COAST handles CIMOLAI Technology products in Japan, supporting projects from quotation through delivery, installation, and maintenance coordination.
Mobile Boat Hoists
Self-propelled boat lifts from 30 to 2,000 tons. Electric and hydraulic specifications, including telescopic models.
Gantry & Jib Cranes
Rail-mounted Goliath cranes, jib cranes, and more — handling large structures in shipyards.
Self-Propelled Transporters
Rubber-tired heavy-vessel transporters. Tandem operations lift over 1,600 tons.
Shock absorption through nanotechnology
SuperFlex's rubber, shock-absorbing mooring systems are built on US-developed nanotechnology. They absorb and disperse the sudden loads waves, tides, and wind impose on floating structures, extending the life of the entire mooring setup.
Tailored solutions for marina floating docks, breakwater pontoons, mooring buoys, aquaculture pen mooring, and more — matched to local marine conditions and structures. As SuperFlex's authorized agent in Japan, COAST supports domestic projects.
Marina Floating Docks
Ideal for dolphin and guide-pile mooring of floating docks. Absorbs wave impact and extends equipment life.
Breakwater Pontoons
For mooring floating breakwaters. Elastically disperses sudden tension surges in heavy weather.
Pens & Floating Structures
Integrated into mooring systems for offshore aquaculture and floating facilities to raise long-term operational reliability.
Offshore handling & lifting systems
Based in Ålesund, Norway, SEAONICS provides customized handling and lifting solutions for the maritime industry. Its fully electric ECMC (Electric Controlled Motion Compensated) Crane uses proprietary motion-compensation control to stabilise the crane tip in 3D, enabling safe and efficient lifting even in harsh sea conditions.
The portfolio spans ECMC Walk-to-Work Gangways, Launch & Recovery Systems (LARS) for ROV and subsea operations, and specialised winches. A Vard Group company, SEAONICS engineers next-generation handling technology to give operators the upper hand at sea.
ECMC Crane
Fully electric 3D motion-compensated crane. Stabilises the crane tip to widen the operational window even in rough seas.
ECMC Gangway
Fully electric motion-compensated walk-to-work gangway for safe personnel transfer and cargo handling between offshore assets.
LARS & Winches
Launch and recovery systems for ROV and subsea operations, plus specialised winches for demanding maritime operations.
Toxin-free physical antifouling
An eco-conscious hull coating developed by Nitto Denko that is free of biocides. Without the copper compounds and other bio-toxic substances conventional antifouling paints rely on, it suppresses biological adhesion using only the physical properties of the coating — a next-generation antifouling solution.
It prevents barnacle and algae adhesion on hulls while reducing the load on marine ecosystems — combining fuel efficiency with environmental responsibility. It is one of the flagship products in COAST's cross-trading initiative to bring high-quality Japanese technology to global markets.
Biocide-Free
A formulation free of copper compounds and other bio-toxic substances. Significantly reduces impact on marine ecosystems.
Physical Antifouling
Suppresses biological adhesion through the physical properties of the coating surface. A next-generation approach that imposes no chemical load.
Fuel Efficiency
By reducing fouling-related hull drag, contributes to better fuel efficiency and lower operating costs.
